The strategy logic behind every copied trade

Every position opened on your behalf traces back to a documented rule set. No strategy runs without a published risk ceiling.

How the system decides, executes, and protects capital

Three components work together: a forecasting model, an execution layer, and a risk governor. Each runs independently so no single failure point controls the account.

01 — PREDICTIVE MODELLING

Market data is scored before a trade is ever considered

The model ingests price action, order flow, and volatility data across multiple timeframes. It outputs a probability score for each candidate position, and only scores above the configured threshold enter the execution queue.

Signal threshold≥ 0.72 confidence
Rejected candidates (avg.)91%
02 — AUTOMATED EXECUTION

Orders are placed without manual confirmation

Once a signal clears the threshold, the execution layer sizes the position against your account rules and submits the order directly to your connected broker. There is no queue for you to approve — this is what makes the process hands-off.

03 — RISK MITIGATION

A separate governor can override any open position

The risk governor monitors exposure independently of the trading model. If drawdown, correlation, or volatility limits are breached, it closes affected positions regardless of what the predictive model is signalling.

From account setup to passive monitoring

Three steps separate you from a running strategy. None require ongoing manual trading decisions.

01

Connect your brokerage account

Link a supported UK brokerage via read/trade API access. Cardinal Equholt never takes custody of your funds; execution rights are scoped to order placement only.

02

Select a strategy and set limits

Choose a strategy from the published logic table and set your own drawdown ceiling and maximum position size. These limits sit above the strategy's own caps.

03

Monitor via the dashboard

Open positions, executed trades, and governor actions are logged in real time. No further input is needed unless you choose to adjust your limits.

Built for people who want the output, not the screen time

Cardinal Equholt was built around a simple constraint: the system should make decisions, not just present data for a human to act on. That means the predictive model, execution layer, and risk governor all operate without requiring you to watch a chart.

You still control the inputs — which strategy runs, how much capital is allocated, and where the drawdown ceiling sits. The day-to-day execution is handled by the system.

Capital risk and platform mechanics

Straightforward answers to the questions we receive most from prospective users.

Can I lose money using Cardinal Equholt?

Yes. Copy-trading exposes your capital to market risk, and past strategy performance does not guarantee future results. Drawdown caps limit the size of a loss on any single strategy but do not eliminate the possibility of loss.

Does Cardinal Equholt hold or control my funds?

No. Your capital remains in your brokerage account. Cardinal Equholt connects via a scoped API that can place and close orders but cannot withdraw funds.

How much manual input does the system actually require?

After initial setup — connecting your broker, selecting a strategy, and setting limits — no further manual trading action is required. You retain the ability to pause a strategy or adjust limits at any time.

Which UK brokers are supported?

Supported brokers are listed during the connection step and are limited to those offering a compatible trade API. Coverage varies and is reviewed on an ongoing basis.

How are strategies selected for the platform?

A strategy is added only after a minimum track record of simulated and live-monitored performance against its stated risk parameters. Underperforming strategies are retired from the active list.

Trading involves risk of loss. Cardinal Equholt provides execution infrastructure and strategy data; it does not provide personal financial advice. UK residents should consider their own risk tolerance and, where appropriate, seek independent financial advice before allocating capital.

Review the strategy data before you allocate capital

Create an account to view full strategy logic, set your risk limits, and connect a supported broker. No capital is required to review the data.

UK residents only. Identity verification required before capital connection.
